Lamb Steaks with Mint & Mango Chutney

Ingredients:

  • 2 lamb leg steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
  • 3 tbsp mango chutney
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Set to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Marinate Lamb: Mix olive oil, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Rub over the steaks and let them sit for 10 minutes.
  3. Sear Steaks: Heat a pan over medium-high heat and sear the lamb for 2 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Bake: Transfer to an oven-safe dish, spread mango chutney over the steaks, and drizzle with lemon juice. Bake for 12-15 minutes for medium doneness.
