Recipe For Beef Stew Using The Ninja Multi Cooker

RECIPE FOR BEEF STEW IN NINJA MULTI COOKER

Here’s a simple recipe for beef stew using the Ninja Multi-Cooker on the slow cooker setting:

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs beef stew meat (cubed)
  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 4 large carrots, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp flour (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Sear the Beef:
    • Set your Ninja Multi-Cooker to the “Sear/Sauté” mode. Add the olive oil and let it heat up.
    • Add the beef stew meat in batches (don’t overcrowd) and brown it on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Vegetables:
    • In the same pot, sauté the onions and garlic for about 2-3 minutes, until softened.
  3. Combine Everything:
    • Add the browned beef back to the pot. Then add the potatoes, carrots, beef broth, tomato paste, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
    • Stir everything together to combine.
  4. Slow Cook:
    • Close the lid and set the Ninja Multi-Cooker to “Slow Cook” on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
  5. Thicken the Stew (optional):
    • If you prefer a thicker stew, mix 2 tbsp of flour with a little water to make a slurry and stir it into the stew 30 minutes before the end of cooking.
  6. Serve:
    • Remove the bay leaf and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Serve hot!

This recipe should make a hearty and flavourful beef stew!
