Pulled Pork Recipe In Ninja Multi Cooker

RECIPE FOR PULLED PORK COOKED IN NINJA MULTI COOKER

Here’s a simple pulled pork recipe you can try with your Ninja Multi-Cooker:

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 lb pork shoulder or pork butt (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 onion, roughly chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your favourite)
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for some heat)

Instructions:

  1. Season the Pork: In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, cumin, chili powder, black pepper, salt, cayenne, and brown sugar. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the pork shoulder.
  2. Sauté the Aromatics: Set your Ninja Multi-Cooker to the “Sauté” function. Add a little oil, then sauté the chopped onions and minced garlic for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pressure Cook the Pork:
    • Add the chicken broth (or water) and apple cider vinegar to the pot.
    • Place the seasoned pork shoulder in the cooker.
    • Lock the lid in place, set the Multi-Cooker to “Pressure Cook” on high for 90 minutes.
    • Once done, let the pressure release naturally for about 10-15 minutes before carefully opening the lid.
  4. Shred the Pork: Once the pork is cooked and tender, remove it from the cooker and shred it with two forks. It should fall apart easily.
  5. Finish with BBQ Sauce: Return the shredded pork to the pot and stir in your BBQ sauce. Let it simmer on the “Sauté” function for an additional 5 minutes to allow the flavours to meld.
  6. Serve: Serve the pulled pork on buns with extra BBQ sauce, coleslaw, or any toppings of your choice.

Enjoy! It’s a great dish for sandwiches, tacos, or even over rice.
